Veterinarian-Led Partnership Network

Protecting Independent Hospitals. Strengthening Them Together.

Excelsior Veterinary Associates of America (EVAA) partners with independently owned veterinary hospitals to preserve their legacy, remove the burdens of ownership, and connect exceptional veterinarians through a collaborative network committed to advancing veterinary medicine.

Your hospital keeps its name. Your culture remains your own. Your team stays together. Your medicine stays in your hands.

Because we believe the future of veterinary medicine isn't built by replacing independent hospitals—it's built by helping them thrive together.

Preserve Independence. Advance Veterinary Medicine.

Why We Exist

More than a management company.

Veterinary medicine is changing. Independent practice owners face increasing operational demands, workforce challenges, rising costs, and growing pressure from large corporate organizations.

Too often, they are asked to choose between preserving everything they've built and finding the support they need. We believe there is a better way.

EVAA was founded by a practicing veterinarian who believes independent hospitals deserve the resources of a larger organization without sacrificing the identity, culture, and relationships that made them successful in the first place.

We're not here to replace your legacy. We're here to help protect it.

Ever Upward

It's more than our name. It's our philosophy.

Excelsior is Latin for “Ever Upward.”

Those two words define everything we do. We believe veterinary medicine should always be moving forward.

Forward in patient care.

Forward in leadership.

Forward in innovation.

Forward in collaboration.

Forward in the way we support one another.

Our goal isn't simply to build another veterinary organization. Our vision is to build the nation's most trusted and respected network of independent veterinary hospitals—one that raises the standard of care by helping exceptional people work together.

Because when one hospital improves… every hospital becomes stronger.

Our Three Pillars

Preserve. Support. Connect.

01

Preserve.

Every hospital has a story. A culture. A reputation. A team. A community that trusts it.

We believe those things deserve to be protected.

Your hospital remains yours. Its name. Its people. Its identity. Its medicine.

We simply help ensure it continues to thrive for generations.

02

Support.

Veterinarians should spend more time leading medicine—not managing payroll.

Behind every successful hospital are hundreds of responsibilities that have little to do with patient care.

We take those responsibilities off your shoulders so you can focus on your patients, your team, and the work that inspired you to become a veterinarian.

From payroll and finance to marketing, compliance, human resources, information technology, facilities, and strategic planning—we become your operational partner.

03

Connect.

This is what makes EVAA different. We aren't building a collection of hospitals. We're building a community.

The Excelsior Network connects independent veterinarians and hospital leaders who believe collaboration creates better medicine.

Within our network, doctors and leaders share ideas, discuss challenging cases, learn from one another, mentor future leaders, and continually improve the way veterinary medicine is practiced.

Every hospital remains independent. But no hospital has to solve every challenge alone. Because better ideas should never stay inside one building.

Our Promise

We aspire to become one of the largest veterinary partnership organizations in the United States. But size is not our purpose.

Trust is. Respect is. Excellence is.

We will never sacrifice our values for rapid growth. Every partnership we form should strengthen our network, elevate veterinary medicine, and honor the legacy of the hospital joining it.

We seek partners who share our belief that collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement create better hospitals, stronger teams, and healthier communities.

Together, we'll build something that lasts.

Let's Start the Conversation

Your legacy deserves a thoughtful partner.

Whether you're planning for retirement, preparing for your next chapter, or simply exploring what's possible, we'd be honored to begin the conversation.

Every discussion is confidential. Every question is welcome. Every partnership begins with listening.

Together, let's preserve what makes your hospital special while building an even stronger future.

Ever Upward. Together.
